Enso Pearl Clock

The Enso Pearl Clock is actually more useful for those who are meditating or relaxing. It provides a visual display of time. It shows the time by slowly forming a complete circle around the LCD face. This gives you a good idea of the time instead of dealing with the usual clock arms to read the time. This makes it extra useful for those trying to meditate, relax or exercise. Even its alarm sounds are soothing as it offers gentle chimes such as that of a Tibetan or Japanese singing bowls. The Enso Pearl Clock is available for pre-order at Firebox for US$123.

Braun Voice Activated Alarm Clock

Getting to wake up in the morning can be hard. That is why people need alarm clocks to remind them to get up early when needed. Some people would certainly wish for a more convenient way to stop the noise of an alarm clock. Braun offers the Voice Activated Alarm clock just for this very purpose.

The Braun Voice Activated Alarm Clock may look like any other alarm clock out there. It is compact, with a sleek design as well as the usual alarm features like a crescendo alarm and a snooze function. But what makes it a bit more unique than the usual alarm clock is that it is voice activated. Users can stop it from alarming through voice command. Now that is convenience that some sleepyheads might welcome so early in the morning. The Braun voice Activated Alarm Clock is now available at Braun for US$40.

Toshiba Satellite P855 Glasses-Free 3D Laptop

Toshiba is so into the 3D laptop craze that they decided to come up with another glasses-free model. The Toshiba Satellite P855 is a 15.6-inch laptop that uses lenticular technology, which uses a webcam to adjust the 3D effect to the user’s head movements, for that 3D-like viewing experience. This is the same technology being used to other Toshiba 3D laptops.

The device is cased in a textured aluminum chassis and from the outside we could see four USB 3.0 ports, HDMI out, Intel WiDi for direct WiFi beaming of 1080p video to a larger screen, and Harmon Kardon speakers. As for the insides, the Toshiba PR guys cannot disclose it yet, even the memory and storage. What they can spill is that the device is geared for mainstream 3D gaming and Blu-ray loving consumers.

Although the price tag remains hush-hush, we can predict the Toshiba Satellite P855 would start at £599 (about US$940). Release date is expected to be within Q2 of this year.
